Photos photos everywhere and not a drop to drink.

Pictures of Morrisville Prom

Busy would be an understatement of the century. Between work, family and work, it seems that time is very short to do much of anything. Add that on to the fact that we are prepping ourselves for a move, and the City Wide Garage sale this weekend and it seems that there won’t be much time for sitting still any time soon.

I’ve got some photos that I’ve been wanting to share and some more photos that have to be delivered to clients before I share them.

BarnaBus

The top photo you see is from the Morrisville Prom. The kids looked like they had a lot of fun. It was at a beautiful restaurant in Springfield and it looked way better then the prom I went to when I was in High school.

The second picture is a picture of the “Barna-Bus’ “. If you haven’t heard of Camp Barnabas then you should check out their website at Camp Barnabas. I’ve been able to visit there on three separate occasions. The first two times was to shoot photos of the Drury students helping the Extreme Makeover Home Edition. They were in charge of the “Barnabunk”, the lodge where helpers and staff members can stay while volunteering for the camp.

Amanda & Ryan

This is one of a few images I shot for Amanda & Ryan. I am shooting their wedding this year in October. They gave me the chance to shoot their engagement photos as well.

They are such a fun couple and I really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them. They are a great pair and I look forward to working with them some more.

Jared

Here is one of my favorite pictures from the time I spent with Jared. He was a lot of fun and just like most kids had a lot of energy. He had a great time and enjoyed getting a hold of our Tonka truck. I like having that truck in the studio and I’ve been surprised at how many kids like it as well. I had one when I was a kid and so it is fun for me to see kids now enjoying a toy that I enjoyed when I was their age.

I have a lot more photos to add, but I’m going to hold off. I’m seriously going to try to add one tomorrow and another on Thursday. I may even go as far as posting of photo of where we are moving. Talk about a lot of beautiful outdoor photo ops…. :)

That’s it for tonight…….

We were able to participate in the Willard Growl Night. It seemed to be a very popular place to be. It was extremely busy and there were hundreds of people wandering around all evening long. We set up a booth to showcase some of our most recent work. We were able to show even some work that we had shot today, (I’ll put that up here tomorrow or Monday.) We didn’t really know what the Growl Night was, as this was our first time participating in the event.

But when we got their it was almost like a mini carnival. They had a trackless train ride. They had kid go carts, a petting zoo, smack a car with a sledge hammer, a car show, silent auctions, food, bands, giveaways and a bunch of the area businesses. It was a lot of fun to see so many people and to see everyone having a good time. It went from 5:30 to about 8:15. Then they had an event at the High School Gym at 8:30. My wife and the kids were with me at the booth and the kids had the most fun at the inflatable bounce. So much fun in fact that my littlest (who is almost 3) decided he didn’t want to leave. After getting caught by the attendent he snuck back in two more times before being brought back to the booth by his mom. After sitting with me for a bit, it was clear that he was a little tired and when we packed up and left he was asleep very quickly. All in all it was a fun time with all the family and we always enjoy these community events. I’ll continue to keep you posted on some new work that I have as well as sharing these photos that I took last night.

Ashley & Fernando’s Wedding

Mom & Dad & Ashley

Last Saturday evening when it was still raining, I went out to do some wedding photos. They did have a tent set up out in the field but we were limited to not so many outside shots. Fortunately everything was beautiful. From Ashley’s hair, to her dress, the food and all the colors. When I get them all together I will post more of them here. I just had to show this one because I love all of Ashley’s reactions to everything. Her face is so vivid in expression in this photo, and I just love it.

An Engagement Photo to share.

An engagement Picture

This last Saturday I was out and about in the rain shooting some engagement pictures. I don’t know what it is with Ritter Springs and engagement pictures, but the last two times I’ve been their for engagement pictures, both times it rained on us. I guess you can’t control everything. Good thing I brought a big umbrella so I could carry my gear with me in the rain. This photo is one of my favorites from that day.

Ash Grove Seniors

Ash Grove High School Composit

We’ve had the opportunity these last few months to have each of the senior class of Ash Grove come into the studio for the pictures for the Yearbook.¬† We put together this composite that is going on a cake to celebrate their graduation.¬† They are a fun class and we wish them the best in their future endeavors.
